We would describe the Alternative 4861 as the punk rock chic t-shirt you see in cute high-end boutiques in West LA, Beverly Hills, and Melrose Ave in Los Angeles.

The fabric is light and has tight knitting that makes it feel like stretch material although it’s 100% cotton so it breaths easily. The Women’s Alternative 4861 snaps right back into shape after washing and shrinkage is very minimal.

This type of t-shirt quality can last up to several years with a little color fade or fabric reduction after multiple washes.

The one thing we noticed and didn’t like too much about this shirt is that the Alternative 4861 is somewhat sheer and see-through when stretched.

But don’t panic. The weight of the material is thick enough if the shirt is worn oversized or loose-fitting. We did notice that in areas where the material stretches you will get some sheer action going on. 

With high sleeves and a straight-fit design, the Alternative 4861 Women’s Basic Crew is a hip and classic t-shirt for a timeless wardrobe of great quality and comfort.

The very first thing that I personally liked about the Anvil 6750L Women’s Triblend Scoopneck T-shirt was the price and quality of this t-shirt compared to the rest of the women’s premium t-shirts.

The material is soft and slightly heavier than most of the shirts reviewed in this post.

At 4.7 oz the anvil Women’s Tiblend Scoopneck Tee is a 50/25/25 polyester / combed ringspun cotton blend.

This women’s scoop neck t-shirt is semi-fitted and a bit more relaxed when compared to the Alternative 1072 and the Next Level 6710.

The best feature of the Anvil brand is its tear-away tag. Most of the major brand manufacturers are adopting the tag-less t-shirt but not all t-shirts come with tearaway tags like the Anvil 6750L. The majority of t-shirts in the marketplace come with branded sewn-in tags.

The benefit of having a tearaway tag on a t-shirt is that it makes the t-shirt more comfortable to wear without having the tag poke you on the back of the neck. With a tear-away tag, there is no damage done to the shirt when the tag is removed from the t-shirt.
