Do you need to update your restaurant menu food prices?

With inflation and food costs going up, changing prices on your menus is a must! We can help you by updating the prices on your menu and printing your to-go menus and large restaurant menus.

In the past two years, we have helped a restaurant in the city of Paramount, California change its pricing 4 times now. Whereas before we would update their menu pricing once a year.

The cost of eggs, chicken, beef, vegetables, employees, and other products has dramatically risen in price, especially over the past year and our estimation is that food costs and product costs will continue to rise for local restaurants.

One of the main ways to stay ahead of inflation and rising food cost is to raise your menu pricing.

What do you need to do to update your menu prices?

First thing is, on the old to-go menu or large menus, write over the old prices with the new prices. A client of ours cut small pieces of sticky note paper and pasted the new prices over the old prices. This is simple to do and you can check and compare your old prices by just removing the sticky paper.

The next step, once you have all of your new pricing updated on your menus, is to email us your menu files to laprintanddesign@gmail.com

If you have your menu in a digital format, it is very easily done, because we can open your menu files on our end using photoshop, or Illustrator and edit your old menu, and then change the outdated pricing with the new updated pricing.

We would then send them back to you for inspection to make sure all of the prices are correct and to get your approval.

Once we have your approval we are ready to print the new updated menu. Printing usually takes about a week. Once we have the new menus printed, we will ship them to you. And that’s it, you now have your new menus with the updated prices.
